Mary Ann Brittain
A joy giver and a gentle, quiet encourager, Mary Ann Brittain is one of our ambassadors. Her legacy includes four daughters Shawna, Kimberly, Heather, and Monica, 15 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She married her husband Robert in 1962 and he went to be with the Lord in 2007.
She started her walk with God on October 27th 1974 and she’s been in ministry for 17 years. She’s willing to get out of her comfort zone and follow the Lord’s leadership as He guides her steps. Her favorite scripture is 2 Corinthians 12:9: But He said to me “My Grace is sufficient for you, for my power is perfected in weakness.”
Helen Heard
Helen Heard was born on Christmas Day and likes to joke that she’s God favorite because of that. She is one of our ambassadors and loves to help wherever she can! Taking care of people is very important to her, especially her family and close friends. Her nieces and nephews are her babies and she loves them as if they were her own.
She got saved in 1986. She says that she’s walked away from Him several times but He was always there waiting on her to return. She has worked in church ministry for years, teaching children’s church and Sunday school and leading devotionals.
She absolutely love music, from classical to oldies. Her favorite scripture is John 9:25 ““But I know this: I was blind, and now I can see!””
Marlene House
Marlene House is a veteran in the Lord’s army. She has an amazing testimony of holding on to the Lord through all of life’s challenges and victories! She has been a widow for 27 years. Her legacy includes two 2 living children, 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She has been a Christian since she was 12 years old and has in active ministry for 12 or more years.
Her favorite scripture is Romans 8:28. "For we know that all things work together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His Word." She says some call her “sarge” and “bossy,” but we prefer to call her ours.
Cristy Johnson
When you look up the word hospitality in the dictionary you’ll find a picture of Cristy Johnson. She loves to entertain and cook (she’s amazing) for her family and friends and she uses those talents in ministry as well! She’s been married to her husband Ron since September of 2015 and she has a son named Blake. She remembers vividly when God called her and she gave her heart to Him. She loves to cook (did we mention she’s amazing at it?), play pool and her friends will tell you she wins at everything!
Her favorite verse is “So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.” 1 Corinthians 13:13
Aaliyah Najera
Aaliyah is our teen ambassador. She is the coolest teen we know and a reminder that there is no junior Holy Spirit. God is raising up a new generation of warriors and Aaliyah will be leading the way! She surrendered her heart to the Lord is 2021 and hasn’t looked back since. She models Christ and walks the walk! She has even started leading devotions through Fellowship of Christian Athletes at her school.
Aaliyah is a jokester and loves to laugh with her friends. She tackles and conquers any job asked of her. Her favorite scripture is Luke 18:27 “with God all things are possible.”
