Jimmy York
Jimmy is a steady, no-nonsense man with a heart for truth, hard work, and investing in the next generation. He has been married to his wife Lana since 1987, and together they’ve built a large, blended family full of life, including children Stephanie, DeAnna, James, and a growing crew of grandchildren who keep the legacy moving forward.
A man who works in sales with Red Dot, Jimmy is most at home outdoors - especially when tractors, motors, or anything mechanical are involved. He has been part of Liberty Baptist since 2019 and grounds his life in John 15:13, living with a deep understanding of sacrifice, love, and purpose in Christ.
Jimmy has a strong passion for working with kids and sees it as an investment in the future. He believes in simple truths, speaks with memorable one-liners, and carries a life message shaped by full surrender to Christ - not just emotion, but a true turning of the heart. Whether he’s working, teaching, or just being outdoors, Jimmy lives with conviction and purpose.
Jason Sherbert
Jason is a down-to-earth guy who has a heart for people and a passion for the Kingdom. He has been married to his wife Rita since 2009, and together they share a life rooted in faith, service, and plenty of adventure with their two dogs, Bella and Oliver.
Jason is the owner of a stump grinding business and brings a strong work ethic into everything he does. He has been part of Liberty Baptist since 2022, and his life is anchored in Proverbs 27:17 and Philippians 4:13 - scriptures that reflect his belief in sharpening others and relying fully on Christ’s strength.
He’s known for being someone who doesn’t meet a stranger and for his heart to minister, especially to kids. Jason enjoys fishing, riding ATV's with Rita, worship, and fellowship. He’s also deeply passionate about telling others about Jesus wherever he goes, living with the reminder that we owe the Lord everything - and He owes us nothing.
Jonathan Adams
Jonathan is a laid-back, open-book kind of guy with a deep love for Christ, family, and the outdoors. He has been married to his wife Stephanie since 2000, and together they’ve built a lively family that includes their children; Summer, Kyla and Jonathan Jr. and grandchildren; Elijah, Afai, and Jonathan III (aka “Boogie”), who keep life full of energy and stories.
Jonathan has followed the Lord since childhood and has been consistently walking with Him in a deeper way for the past several years. He anchors his life in ALL Scripture and a simple desire to serve God well in whatever he does, wherever he is.
Most at peace when he’s outside, Jonathan loves being in nature with his family, serving others, and staying active in everyday life. He works in maintenance, enjoys hands-on work, and has a heart for teaching and serving. Whether at home, at church, or on a mission trip, his goal is simple: to love Christ and live it out through service.
Kj Smith
Kj, is a homeschool student with a creative, curious mind and a love for figuring things out. Whether he’s drawing, playing games, or solving puzzles, he enjoys anything that challenges him to think and create. At home, life is full of energy with three dogs - Cyber, Rufus, and Rocky - and two cats, Nermal and Tipsy.
He has grown up in church his entire life at Liberty Baptist, literally since the day he was born (well at 4 days old), and is grounded in his faith through Isaiah 41:10, holding onto God’s promise of strength and courage in every situation. His desire is simple but strong: to know God and make Him known.
Kj’s world is shaped by curiosity and creativity - he wants to learn guitar, dreams of visiting Japan, and is always looking for new ways to grow. One of his favorite songs is “Cornerstone” by TobyMac, and his heart reflects that same foundation: just a kid doing his best to glorify Jesus with everything he has.
